Yes my feathers get ruffled when people vote down a solid game like this because it is out of their price range and then I see comments like 'buy monopoly'.

It's not just flashy, but the time put into development and play testing of many new games and the gameplay itself is just far superior. Monopoly is like a 1960s black and white film compared to a new Avengers. I've only started in the past 4 years, there are so many great games out there. It always saddens me how many people haven't been exposed to modern board games.
